Two hair secrets have come into my life recently that have made a huge difference, especially as my hair has gotten longer again. And because they are making my life better/easier, I figured I should dish.

I'm definitely not the first to talk about these, but they really are that great. Super simple for low buns and stays put all day. My coworkers told me I looked like a schoolteacher with my hair like this (I was going for librarian chic but whatevs), I took it as a compliment. This was so great this summer when it was hot and I didn't want hair on my neck, but so much classier than a ponytail (which I do not really wear to work).
Second, my new love, and I know it's totally cheating but at least it's not fake hair (right?), the
bun maker:
You can do the ballerina bun as pictured, or use it for a top knot. Mostly I do the top knot, which were it not for this little treasure would look pretty pathetic on my head. This time my coworkers said I looked taller (awesome?). Again, I'll take it.
What, you don't care about hair accessories? Don't worry, I probably won't bring them up again.
Hey. I like to know. But I forgot to tell you that I just got four inches cut off! (My hair is still below my shoulders, of course.)
ReplyDeleteBTW. We were watching ProjRun a couple weeks ago, and guys were supposed to describe their wives style to the designers. I asked Jack what he would have said. He had no idea :-) I suggested librarian chic. He said, "And maybe some Tami Taylor?" Oh yeah.
